If there’s one week that defines Calgary’s spirit, it’s Stampede—and this year’s American Chamber of Commerce in Canada (AmCham Canada) Stampede party at the TELUS Convention Centre was a standout. I had the privilege of photographing the afternoon event, and from the moment guests arrived, the energy was undeniable.

On June 2 and 5, I had the privilege of photographing two unforgettable recognition evenings for Sobeys and Safeway in Calgary. The events celebrated inductees into the “Quarter Century Club,” honouring team members with 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50—and even one 55-year—milestones. It was corporate recognition done right: heartfelt, personal, and beautifully executed.

When I heard a new roller rink—House of Skate—was opening in Calgary, I knew I wanted to photograph it. As someone who grew up in Calgary, I spent countless birthdays and events at Lloyd’s Roller Rink, so it’s exciting to see a new spot bringing back that classic roller-skating vibe.
