2025 International Wildland Fire Safety Summit

The International Association of Wildland Fire (IAWF) brought together wildfire professionals, researchers, emergency managers, and industry leaders from around the world for a three-day conference in Calgary. Jeff B Photography was commissioned to provide complete conference photography coverage, beginning with the Welcome Reception at Rooftop YYC before documenting two full days of keynote presentations, breakout sessions, workshops, sponsor exhibits, networking, and awards. The event united experts from government, academia, Indigenous communities, and private industry to share the latest research and innovations shaping the future of wildland fire management.

With multiple sessions running throughout the conference, my focus was on creating a complete visual story of the event. That included photographing keynote speakers, educational presentations, panel discussions, sponsor activations, the trade show, attendee networking, candid conversations, and the moments between sessions that help define the conference experience. The result is a balanced gallery that captures both the educational value of the event and the relationships built between professionals from across the globe.
