You found me! You reach out and we schedule a discovery call. You can also book a discovery call right away here.
Usually we'll have a call discuss what you're looking for in your shoot and more details on the process. Deposit will be taken and a shoot date scheduled.
The big day! My team and I will arrive about 30 minutes prior to starting to set up, scout out the place and touch base with you about any last minute details.
There will be a LOT of photos to go through. We typically deliver about 150-200 images per shooter per hour (that's up to 2,600 photos for a 6 hour event with two shooters). We'll retouch all the photos, for lighting, colour and composition, trim out a few and make sure everyone looks their best.
When edits are done I'll send you a gallery that you can download your photos from. You'll have the link for a year so lots of time to download and save.

How old do kids need to be for a session?Six months is a safe minimum. We provide a Bumbo seat for the little ones, so a long as they can sit up in a Bumbo they will be good to go! On the top end, there's not maximum. If you can drag your teenager to a session, we'll bee happy to shoot. If you want to bring grandparents and have them do a session too, that would be amazing!

What should they wear?These sessions work best in a plain white shirt with no logos or extra colours. A white shirt with a texture is fine though. Black is the second option and is a great alternative.

Can I book more that one child per session?Every kid needs to have their own individual session. These are mini sessions that are only 15 minutes each, so we want to make sure everyone gets enough time. However, if you want a group photos at the end we're happy to accommodate for no extra fee, time permitting.

How much does a Kiddo Session cost?When you book a session, we'll need a session fee upfront to secure your date. This fee covers the 1–2 hour studio session, and all the artistic editing. About 1-2 weeks after your session, you'll see your portraits for the first time at an ordering appointment. You can choose your favourites and select from high-end products like albums, canvases, acrylic canvases, and digital images. What is an ordering session?This is an appointment we book 1–2 weeks after your shoot date and you get to see your photos for the first time! I'll have curated the best photos and done some pre-editing. During the the ordering session you'll be making your purchasing decisions you'll choose your favourite photos and select from high-end products like albums, canvases, acrylic canvases, and digital images (We've got some packages to make it easy for you). We happily accept credit cards, but if you prefer to pay in cash, you'll get a sweet 5% discount as an extra incentive. And, if you need some flexibility, we offer in-house payment plans to spread the cost. Here are the nitty-gritty details for our payment plans: For purchases under $1000, you'll need to make a 50% downpayment. For purchases over $1000, a 33% downpayment is required. The longest term for a payment plan is 6 months. Your minimum monthly payment will be $250. Once your payment plan is paid in full, we'll happily deliver your products and images. Keep in mind, because our work is digital and custom, all sales are final. If you're interested in our fine art albums and wall art, they typically take 4–6 weeks to produce and prices can be subject to change but once you pay your session fee, the investment menu prices are locked in.

What if I want outdoor photos of my child?Not a problem! See The Family Sessions under the Services menu for samples. We could just book as a family shoot and focus on the children.

What about digital images?You need these for the 'gram. Totally. For all photos your order a product for (prints, albums, etc) we will include web-ready copies on a USB thumbdrive. If you want to order just digital images (see the digital section of the Investment Menu) those are delivered in high-resolution on USB thumbdrive.
